Officina Stellare signs a new contract with the German Aerospace Center, DLR

We’re proud to announce a new milestone: Officina Stellare will supply a complete optical ground station for time distribution applications supporting the second-generation ESA – European Space Agency satellite navigation constellation, GALILEO, as part of ESA’s OpSTAR (Optical Synchronized Time And Ranging) program.
“We are ready to take on this new challenge,” says Gino Bucciol, Co-founder and VP of Business Development at Officina Stellare. “The performance of global positioning and navigation networks must evolve to support new mobility services and applications. Laser technologies developed for telecommunications are inherently enabling and represent a significant step forward in this field.”
