Matera Satellite Laser Ranging station now operational

The new Matera Satellite Laser Ranging (MSLR) station is now operational at the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI) “Giuseppe Colombo” Space Centre, enhancing Italy’s role within the international geodetic network and supporting highly accurate satellite orbit determination.

As part of the project, Officina Stellare developed and delivered the telescope system at the core of the station, contributing to a strategic asset designed for today’s geodetic missions and tomorrow’s space monitoring challenges.
