Officina Stellare signs contract with the Italian Space Agency to lead EarthNext

Officina Stellare has signed a new contract with the Italian Space Agency (ASI) for the EarthNext programme, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in the development of advanced space missions and next-generation Earth Observation technologies.

As prime contractor, Officina Stellare will lead an all-Italian consortium in the development and in-orbit demonstration of an innovative Earth Observation platform operating in Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO).

“The award of EarthNext is an important recognition of the expertise that both the market and institutions attribute to Officina Stellare in the development of integrated space solutions. We are grateful to the Italian Space Agency (ASI) for the trust placed in out Group and in the consortium. This project allows us to contribute to a new frontier of Earth Observation, demonstrating how innovative technologies, onboard autonomy and operations in Very Low Earth Orbit can generate high-value applications for institutional and commercial users”, commented Gino Bucciol, Head of Strategy of Officina Stellare Group.
