Officina Stellare is closely monitoring the global impact of the evolving situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and vaccination campaigns.
We are committed to keeping you updated as necessary and our team is taking actions to ensure the health and safety of our employees while minimizing the impact on our customers, employees, and business. While it is impossible to fully plan in advance for unanticipated events outside of our control, OS’response team is tasked with keeping abreast of the evolving situation; understanding the impacts of the virus on our employees, customers, and business; and actively exploring and implementing mitigation opportunities.
Presently, OS’ premises remain open and operational, with updated protocols being adopted as recommended by the World Health Organization, the Italian prime ministerial decree and the local authorities restrictions. To that end, we have put substantial efforts in place to reduce the risk to our personnel, including the implementation of work from home strategies for support personnel, split shifts in our manufacturing, social distancing, and limiting access to our facilities.
In the event that an employee becomes infected with the virus or comes into close contact with someone displaying symptoms, Officina DStellare has developed a policy that aggressively seeks to minimize further spread through cleaning measures at the facility impacted and by requiring the recommended 14-day quarantine period, not only for the individual who has contracted COVID-19 but anyone else the person may have come into contact with.
